1 Dooreea Sullah
A striped muslin of native make in India, from 16th to 18th century. Each thread in the stripes was a twofold one. The stripe threads were usually made of Seronge cotton. Made 36-in. to 54-in., 10 to 20 yards, and 1,500 to 2,000 threads in the warp. The stripes were 6 lines in each, 5/8 - in. wide and 5/8-in. apart. -
2 Charkana
The fine muslin cloth made in Dacca, but woven in check designs. Mostly consumed in the district. The quality is the same as the Dooreea. Made in all sizes of checks.
